Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Groundskeeper to maintain the beauty and functionality of our outdoor spaces. The ideal candidate will have experience in landscape maintenance, lawn care, and the use of both hand and power tools. This role is essential in ensuring that our gardens, lawns, and overall grounds are well-kept and inviting.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and care for gardens, lawns, and landscaped areas to ensure they remain healthy and aesthetically pleasing.
- Operate hand tools such as rakes, shovels, and pruners for various landscaping tasks.
- Utilize power tools including lawn mowers, trimmers, and blowers to perform groundskeeping duties efficiently.
- Irrigate plants and lawns as needed to promote growth and maintain appearance.
- Perform regular inspections of the grounds to identify areas needing attention or improvement.
- Assist in planting flowers, shrubs, and trees to enhance the landscape.
- Clear debris from walkways, driveways, and other areas to ensure safety and cleanliness.
- Collaborate with team members to execute landscaping projects effectively.
Requirements
- Proven experience in groundskeeping or landscape maintenance is preferred.
- Familiarity with various hand tools and power tools used in gardening and landscaping.
- Knowledge of proper irrigation techniques for maintaining healthy gardens and lawns.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while performing physical tasks.
