What are the responsibilities and job description for the Music Teacher position at Canyon ISD?
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Appropriate elementary and/or music certification required
- Experience in choral/instrumental instruction, preferred
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Willingness to participate and reinforce the development of district music curriculum
- Plan individual grade level performances
- Plan and collaborate with PE teacher
- Maintain a positive attitude and demonstrate flexibility to create a positive learning environment
- Work well with parents, students, and staff
- Participate in campus PLC and provide interventions for students when appropriate
- Other duties as assigned
