Our Senior Project Manager will be responsible for implementing systems to track and manage complex electric utility infrastructure construction projects. Your responsibilities will include project estimating, bid development, project planning, project controls, and close-out.

Our Senior Project Manager will be responsible for implementing systems to track and manage complex electric utility infrastructure construction projects. Your responsibilities will include project estimating, bid development, project planning, project controls, and close-out.
What You'll Do
- Collaborate with operations to identify projects that will benefit from project management
- Support implementation and training of project management process into identified operational areas with the goal of standardization and consistency
- Ensure initiatives and projects are delivered with high quality, customer satisfaction
- Work with stakeholders to identify areas of improvement in project management, contract management, etc. and develop recommendations and solutions for improvement
- Coach and mentor team members and support staff on project management skills and activities
- Collaborate and communicate with client and stakeholders and report out on project status
- Support development of competitive bids and project budgets and in turn implement procedures for effective control of project activities
- Perform other duties as requested by leadership
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management preferred
- 5 years with increasing responsibilities in project management, including construction management, contract administration and documentation
- 5 years of leadership and/or people management and development
- Project Management certification preferred
- Experience building effective relationships to drive project success
- Extensive understanding of Project Management principles, methods and techniques
- Extensive knowledge contract management, cost management, risk management, and reporting
- Strong understanding support systems and business processes that both support, and need to be supported by the PMO
- Strong ability to hold self and others accountable to delivering results
- Extensive knowledge of utility infrastructure and associated construction projects
- Ability to follow instructions and work on multiple projects until the end goals are accomplished
- Strong negotiation, facilitation and consensus building skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skill to compose reports, proposals, presentations, and work-related manuals
- Ability to maintain confidentiality

- Work is performed in a typical indoor office environment
- Flexibility to work various schedules and stay late when necessary with little or no notice
- Must be able to read documents, use a computer, communicate verbally and in writing
- Mobility required within an office, warehouse and construction site environments
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 pounds
