As a Fitness Instructor at Canyon Ranch, you’ll be responsible for instructing Wellness / Fitness classes and ensuring guest comfort, safety and enjoyment during classes. Your fitness class schedule may include aerobic exercise, Yoga, muscle toning, strength and endurance and stretching. As a fitness guru, you’ll be a pro at assisting guests with proper body alignment, equipment and safety of classes and cardiovascular and weight equipment.
Availability Needed : Fri / Sat / Mon / Thur or any combination of days listed
A group fitness and personal trainer certification is required.
To be success in this role, you’ll need :
- A minimum of two years teaching experience in the fitness industry required.
- A college degree relating to fitness preferred (physical education, exercise science, dance, etc.) with a thorough knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology.
- CPR certification and basic first aid knowledge required.
