Responsibilities
As an Outdoor Sports Guide,you will play the role of an “ambassador of fun”, engaging our guests, keeping them entertained and safe. You will be introducing both locals and tourists to the area’s unique and popular attractions and activities. You will also instruct guests in proper operation of bicycles, safe and efficient cycling techniques and proper hiking techniques. You will operate a 15-passenger van, at times pulling a large bike trailer. Our tours are generally on the smaller/ more intimate side of less than 7 people, but can also be larger with multiple guides, so you have to like both working independently and working effectively as part of a team.
Schedule: 3 times per week
Pay rate $16.00

Qualifications
Education: High School Diploma or GED
Must have 2 years of experience in guiding experience. Recreation, sports or customer service a plus!
You will need to be 21 years of age or older and have a valid state driver's license with no moving violations for the previous 3 years.
You absolutely, positively need to enjoy spending time with people and being able to carry the conversation easily and engagingly. if you have a background, interest or skills in bicycling, that is a huge plus.
