WHAT YOU'LL DO
As the Purchasing Coordinator, you'll be responsible for reviewing and processing Purchase Orders accurately and in a timely manner for multiple locations.
Responsibilties include:
- Place orders with various vendors, track progress, and log all received items in the software systems.
- Reconcile orders and vendor shipments to identify any discrepancies or missing items, and assist the Accounting team to verify invoices.
- Work closely with the local purchasing manager and your colleagues to ensure smooth operations across all properties.
- Utilize key software tools such as Oracle NetSuite, Excel, and Book 4 Time to manage purchasing activities effectively.
- Embrace a jack-of-all-trades role, remaining open to learning new processes and contributing wherever needed.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL
- A highly organized, self-starter attitude with a knack for prioritizing tasks efficiently.
- 1-2 years of overall experience
- Technical: Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Education: High-school diploma as a minimum. Associate degree or higher preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills to manage vendor interactions and internal coordination.
- Comfort with standard office hours (8 AM–5 PM) in a hybrid work environment (onsite in Tucson)
- While no previous retail or purchasing background is required, a willingness to learn and adapt is essential.
