Job Description: CRS is currently seeking a motivated and experienced Commercial Landscaping Estimator/Business Development Manager to join our team. This person is responsible for assessing project requirements, preparing accurate cost estimates, and actively driving business development initiatives to expand our client base and revenue streams. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial landscaping, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of successfully closing deals.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct site visits and assessments to understand project scope, requirements, and client preferences.
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates for landscaping projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor services.
  • Collaborate with the design team to develop innovative landscaping solutions that align with client objectives and budget constraints.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with existing clients, architects, developers, and property managers to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive prospecting, lead generation, and strategic networking efforts.
  • Develop and implement targeted marketing strategies to promote our services and differentiate us from competitors.
  • Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to enhance our visibility and generate new leads.
  • Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations to potential clients, highlighting our expertise, capabilities, and value proposition.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements to ensure favorable terms for both parties and secure profitable projects.
  • Track sales activities, pipeline progress, and market trends to inform strategic decision-making and optimize business performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, finance, and administration, to ensure seamless project execution and client satisfaction.
  • Stay current on industry best practices, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements to maintain our competitive edge and drive innovation.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in commercial landscaping estimation and business development, with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Local knowledge and contacts in the commercial landscaping sector.
  • Strong negotiation and sales skills with a demonstrated ability to close deals and cultivate long-term client relationships.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts and build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
  • Successful business to business selling experience to high level decision makers.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM software, and other business development tools.
  • Valid driver's license and insurable driving record.
