Position Summary:
Provides basic nursing and behavioral health care to patients including technical monitoring, taking vital signs, and physical care. Orients patients to treatment setting and assists with activities of daily living as needed. Some assistance with toileting and cleaning patients may be required. Reviews and participates in implementation of the patient treatment plan. Makes rounds and monitors patients activities, physical, and mental status and reports to nursing staff. Checks patient belongings for contraband. Conducts a variety of patient safety monitoring activities such as observational checks. Facilitates daily therapeutic groups and activities for patients. Documents observations, interventions, groups, and activities in the electronic medical record while maintaining confidentiality of all health information.
***Night Shift Position***
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
- Must obtain CPR and Handle with Care certifications within 90 days of hire.
- 1 to 2 years of experience preferred.
