Job Description
As a Health Science Adjunct Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in various health science courses. Your primary duties will include:
- Developing and teaching engaging course materials
- Assessing student learning and providing constructive feedback
- Maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Staying current with industry developments and best practices
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be considered for this position, you must possess one of the following qualifications:
- Possession of an unexpired California Community College Instructor Credential in Health Science
- Master's degree in health science, health education, biology, nursing, physical education, kinesiology, exercise science, dietetics, nutrition, or public health
- Bachelor's degree in any of the above AND a Master's degree in public health or any biological science
- Equivalency: An official transcript documenting successful completion of any Master's degree from an accredited institution of higher education AND official transcripts documenting successful completion of 24 semester units in the discipline at the upper division and graduate level, a minimum of which must be 12 graduate level semester units
