Job Title: Adjunct Instructor - Theatre

We are currently accepting applications for the Adjunct Instructor Applicant Pool in Theatre. To be considered, please review the application material requirements carefully and ensure that all required documents are submitted.
The teaching assignment may be at the Valencia or Canyon Country campus, or other college teaching locations. Part-time faculty positions are as-needed and do not accrue rights to tenure.
Responsibilities:
- Teaching courses in Theatre, including acting, directing, playwriting, and theatre history
- Developing curriculum and assessments aligned with departmental and institutional goals
- Evaluating student learning outcomes and making recommendations for improvement
- Participating in department, division, and college committees and governance activities
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to promote a positive and inclusive learning environment
Qualifications:
- Masters degree or higher in Theatre or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Possession of an unexpired California Community College Instructor Credential in Theatre (or eligibility for certification)
- Ability to teach online courses (with certification)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to serving the needs of students, department, college, and community
