Salary Range: $13.75 - $13.75 Hourly
Maintenance Custodian
Position Summary: Keep buildings in clean and orderly condition. Perform heavy cleaning duties.
Essential Functions:
- Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners per SDS for safety and to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
- Performing physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling materials.
- Gather and empty trash.
- Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, and scrubbing.
- Keep storage areas and carts well stocked, clean, and tidy.
- Break down boxes, using machine to bale boxes.
- Keeping soda machines stocked, responsible to turn money gathered from machines into management.
- Complete Covid prevention rounds as required.
- Perform other duties as requested.
Qualifications:
- Some sitting, standing, walking, lifting (over 75 lbs.), bending, twisting, reaching, stretching, pushing, and pulling required.
- Must be able to get along well with multiple personalities.
- Must be able to work with little supervision.
- Must be unobtrusive and discreet around paperwork on office desks.
- Must pay attention to detail.
- Must have a positive work attitude be punctual and dependable.
