Co-Teacher

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Co-teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with lead teachers to create a nurturing and stimulating environment for preschool-aged children. This role is essential in supporting the educational development of young learners through engaging activities that promote literacy, physical education, and overall child development.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and implementing age-appropriate lesson plans that align with curriculum goals.
• Educate children in various subjects, including literacy education and physical education, through interactive and hands-on activities.
• Provide care for toddlers, ensuring their safety and well-being throughout the day.
• Implement behavior management strategies to foster a positive learning environment.
• Support children with special needs by adapting lessons and providing individualized attention as necessary.
• Engage in daily communication with parents regarding children's progress and classroom activities.
• Collaborate with the lead teacher to assess student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with educational best practices.

Experience

• Previous experience working with children in a preschool or childcare setting is preferred.
• Knowledge of behavior management techniques and special education practices is a plus.
• Experience providing individualized support to children is beneficial.
• Strong interpersonal skills, patience, and a genuine love for working with young children are essential qualities for success as a Co-teacher.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 30 per week
