RESPONSIBILITES |
o Customer Service/Satisfaction--Recognizing and making the customer our priority #1, fully satisfied from start to finish, and assuring that he or she wants and continues to do repeat business with our company. o Showroom Floor Support – Greeting Customers on the showroom floor, assisting them in locating material and answering questions about materials and pricing. Providing customers with product brochures and catalogs as needed. o Teamwork--Being a team player and supporting all associates to assure customer satisfaction and treating all team members with respect. o Store Area Cleanup--Keeping your designated areas and our retail store clean, neat and organized, fully stocked with clean, marked, sellable products. Using cleanup time productively and wisely. o Inventory Control-- Being proactive when ordering material. Keeping designated areas fully stocked and organized. Passing on information to proper personnel to assure inventory control throughout our company. o Processes – working in compliance with all policies, procedures and pricing policies. Learn paper flow. o Product Knowledge and Machinery--Knowing all stocked and surplus products, alloys, sizes, types o Computer Screens and Functions--Knowing how to read and interpret various screens, pricing, inventory, customer information, proper part numbers, etc. o Safety is our number one priority. You will be working in a high-volume retail environment and will be trained in our safety standards to maintain the health and safety of yourself and your teammates o Use your people skills to provide an exceptional customer experience o Respond quickly and resourcefully to customer requests and concerns o Work with the warehouse team to keep store areas fully stocked and organized. o Computer experience is a plus as you will use our point-of-sale software to quote, order and fulfill customer needs o You’ll be using various measuring tools such as a tape measure, calipers and micrometers when needed. If this is new to you, you will learn a new skill. o Prior metal knowledge is not required, we will teach you!
