We are seeking a skilled Frontend Loader Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various types of heavy equipment, including loaders and backhoes, to support construction and excavation projects. The Loader Operator will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient movement of materials and maintaining a safe work environment.
Duties
- Operate loaders and other heavy equipment, including Caterpillar machinery, to move materials as required.
- Perform tasks such as digging, grading, and horizontal drilling to prepare sites for construction.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with team members to build and maintain project timelines.
- Safely operate water trucks for dust control and site preparation.
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations while on the job site.
- Assist in training new operators on equipment operation and safety practices.
Experience
- Proven experience in heavy equipment operation, specifically with loaders and backhoes.
- Familiarity with grader operation and commercial driving is a plus.
- Experience with horizontal drilling techniques is desirable.
- Strong understanding of construction site safety practices.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining individual accountability.
