Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Outside Sales Representative to join our dynamic sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a designated territory, building strong relationships with clients, and driving sales growth through effective business development strategies. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a passion for technology sales, with the ability to deliver compelling product demonstrations and upsell solutions that meet customer needs.
Duties
- Sell Concrete, concrete pipe, asphalt and aggregate jobs to new and existing customers
- Contact new and existing customers to discuss their needs, and to explain how these needs could be met by specific products and services.
- Answer customers' questions about products, prices, availability, or credit terms.
- Quote prices or bid specifications with the assistance of the estimator
- Prepare sales contracts for orders obtained, and submit orders for processing.
- Call in and assist central dispatcher for scheduling current and future pours
- Meet with Sales Team on a weekly basis to review and update all current and future projects through the sales pipeline.
- Complete sales projection reports to Sales Director
- Stay informed about industry trends and competitor offerings to maintain a competitive edge.
Experience
- Proven experience in territory management and business development within a sales environment.
- Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM software is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Experience in technology sales is advantageous but not required.
- Proficiency in Spanish is a plus, enhancing communication with diverse clientele.
- Previous experience in inside sales or related fields will be beneficial.
- Candidates should demonstrate a proactive approach to achieving sales targets while maintaining high standards of professionalism.
