Concrete truck driver delivers concrete to industrial, commercial and residential construction job sites. Must be able to safely operate a mixer truck and its auxiliary equipment such as levers, chutes and mixing drums. Complete pre-trip inspection of assigned truck, know your slumps and use radio codes properly. Check job sites for safety hazards before entering pour area. Be professional and courteous to customers.
Responsibilities
- Operate and drive trucks to transport materials to and from specified destinations
- Load and unload goods using appropriate equipment
- Perform routine checks on vehicles and ensure they are well-maintained
- Follow safety regulations and traffic laws at all times
- Communicate with dispatchers and team members effectively
Experience
- Prior experience with loader operation, concrete pumping, concrete mixer, dump truck, or similar equipment is preferred
- Mechanical knowledge for basic maintenance tasks is a plus
- Commercial driving experience in construction settings is beneficial
- Familiarity with installation processes on construction sites is advantageous
