Capacity Interactive (CI), a digital marketing consulting firm serving arts and culture organizations, is looking for a dynamic and visionary leader to join our team to build and grow  a new service line: AI consulting for arts and culture organizations. This role requires a balance of technical expertise, strategic consulting, and personal drive to shape a growing field for the arts and culture sector. You will help organizations uncover transformative opportunities through AI, and in doing so, lead a service that redefines the intersection of AI and the arts.  The ideal candidate will leverage technology to solve client challenges, guide our team, and contribute to the long-term vision of our organization.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Business Development

  • Develop and lead the strategic vision for CI’s AI Consulting service, ensuring alignment with our mission to support arts and culture organizations.

  • Drive the growth of AI consulting as a profitable business within the company. Build and scale the service offering from the ground up, setting clear goals, KPIs, and a growth strategy.

  • Mentor and guide team members to expand their skills and capabilities in AI.

  • Act as a thought leader in the field, representing the company in relevant conversations and events.

  • Recruit and lead a team of consultants as the service grows, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.

  • Provide training and mentorship to internal staff to build AI fluency across the organization.

Technical Expertise & Innovation

  • Apply deep technical knowledge to understand client challenges and propose innovative AI-driven solutions.

  • Translate complex technical concepts into actionable strategies for arts and culture leaders with varying technical expertise.

  • Actively design, develop, and implement tailored AI solutions that address client-specific challenges and deliver measurable results.

  • Discover opportunities to develop AI agents and oversee their end-to-end production lifecycle. 

  • Stay at the forefront of AI technologies, tools, and trends, ensuring CI offers cutting-edge solutions.

Client Engagement & Consulting

  • Act as the primary technical and strategic advisor for prospective clients evaluating our AI consulting services. Demonstrate how AI can be used to solve high-value business challenges.

  • Partner closely with portfolio managers to understand client needs. 

  • Ask the right questions to uncover client goals and align solutions with their business objectives.

 

Qualifications

10 professional experience in a relevant field (marketing or consulting).

2 years of applicable experience in AI OR demonstrated affinity toward and knowledge of AI 

Experience in a senior leadership role, ideally including building and scaling new service offerings or business units.

Experience with AI technology, particularly in leveraging AI or similar tools to solve complex challenges.

Familiarity with the digital marketing landscape and how it intersects with AI to drive organizational growth.

Experience in consulting, including client interaction, problem-solving, and strategic thinking.

Strong ability to assess, recommend, and integrate AI tools and platforms that align with clients’ needs.

Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to take initiative and drive innovation in a start-up-like environment within an established company.

A love of teaching, mentoring, and helping others succeed

Demonstrated ability to take initiative and work in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.

Understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities facing arts and culture organizations, a plus.

Additional Requirements: 

We are a fully remote company with no physical office. This job requires a significant amount of time on-camera for internal and external video calls. 

 

You may be required to occasionally travel for work.
