What are the responsibilities and job description for the Safety Analyst position at Capacity?

Are you passionate about workplace safety and ensuring compliance with EHS & OSHA guidelines? We're looking for a dedicated Safety Analyst to join our team.
Key Responsibilities :
Inspection and Compliance : Carry out safety inspections, identify hazards, and ensure adherence to health and safety laws.
Training Coordination : Organize safety and health training for all employees, ensuring everyone is up-to-date with the latest safety protocols.
Documentation Management : Keep the SDS database, SOP repository, and CAPA repository updated and accessible.
Safety Meetings : Lead safety meeting discussions under the guidelines of the EHS Manager and in collaboration with various teams.
Reporting : Handle federal, state, and local EHS reports, accident reports, etc.
Contractor Compliance : Ensure that contractors and vendors follow safety regulations on company premises.
Waste and Chemical Management : Manage the on-site handling of universal waste materials and hazardous materials.
Administrative Support : Assist in projects and maintain necessary recordkeeping.
Training : Provide Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) training and evaluations.
Key Qualifications :
High School Diploma / GED with 1-3 years of related experience OR a Bachelor's degree with one year of experience preferred.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is a must.
Detail-Oriented : Strong attention to detail and accuracy required.
Communication Skills : Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels within the organization.
