Job Overview:
Capano Management is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Vacation Property Manager to oversee the management of our weekly beach rental properties. This role ensures a seamless experience for guests, maintains the quality of our homes, and coordinates all necessary services to uphold our high standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage guest reservations, inquiries, and concerns to ensure a smooth booking process and excellent customer experience. Responsible for handling our 8-10 weekly rentals in-house. Position based in Lewes to manage our properties in Rehoboth Beach, Dewey & Fenwick.
- Oversee property preparation, including cleaning, inspections, and staging, to ensure homes are guest-ready.
- Coordinate repairs and maintenance with vendors and service providers as needed.
- Conduct property walkthroughs to ensure all amenities are in working order.
- Handle check-ins and check-outs, providing clear communication and assistance to guests.
- Maintain accurate records of bookings, maintenance, and property-related expenses.
- Address and resolve guest concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction.
Hours
- Tuesday-Friday 8-5
- Saturdays 10-4
- Emergency calls after hours required
Skills and Qualifications
- Technical computer skills required on all forms of hardware - laptops, tablets and mobile devices
- Professional in all forms of communications such as email, phone calls, video calls and texts
- Ability to work well under pressure in an agile, fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to change activity frequently and cope with interruptions
- Highly responsive and reliable
- Strong attention to detail
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures
Work Environment and Physical Demands
- Availability to work Tuesday through Saturday. Some after hours on call emergencies will require assistance.
- Traveling between worksites is frequent and this person will need their own reliable transportation.
- Occasional need to perform light housekeeping and maintenance duties (change light bulbs, unclog garbage disposal, etc)
- Ability to stand, sit, and walk for an extended period of time
- Reach overhead and below the waist
- Regularly push, pull, and lift up to 25 pounds
- Occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds
- Bend, stoop, squat, kneel, and twist
