What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Engineer position at Capco-LLC?
Must be self-starter able to prioritize and meet demanding deadlines.
Must interpret, build upon and comply with company quality assurance standards and meet company goals. Demonstrate experience in all aspects of the quality department, control plans, root cause analysis, PPAP, training all members of the department, excellent MS office skills required.
Experience in metal stamping and automotive manufacturing environment desired.
Skills and Qualifications preferred:
- Knowledge of quality assurance terminology, methods and tools.
- Carefully maintain compliant and nonconformance processing through records and tracking systems, including root cause and corrective actions.
- Computer competence, including database management.
- Analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Working with customers and suppliers directly to ensure customer satisfaction. Some travel may be required.
- Must be able to read blueprints, perform layouts, operate and program CMM.
- Perform the lead on new model launches PCR, PPAP, Capability study submissions with customers and suppliers.
- Must be able to lead internal and external audits with customers and suppliers.
- Must be able to conduct CPC controls on out of spec items to improve die conditions and reduce out of tolerance controls.
Salary : $60,000 - $70,000
