Veterinary Technician
We are currently seeking a Full or Part time technician, certified preferred but experience required.
We are looking for a minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience, surgical experience a plus, and a great can-do attitude a must.
Cape Ann Veterinary Hospital is a busy 4 DVM practice on the beautiful NorthShore. We have beaches, hiking trails, and a great coastline minutes from our hospital.
Schedule will include some day and early evening shifts as well as some Saturday rotations. We are closed on Sundays and have no on- call or emergency hours. Compensation is based on experience and skill level.

Some of the job duties include but not limited to:
- IV catheter placement, venipuncture, IV, IM, SQ injections
- Support Veterinarians, safely restrain animals, and run diagnostic lab tests
- Position animals for both full body and dental radiographs
- Surgical experience and anesthesia induction and monitoring
- Medication preparation and administration
- Prepare, maintain, and clean work areas
- Answer phones when needed, schedule appointments, and be the client’s advocate
- Able to lift 50 pounds
- Can work as a team and individually
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour

- Weekends as needed
