Certified Pilates Instructor

Cape Arundel Golf Club, located in Kennebunkport, Maine, is looking for a qualified and experienced Pilates professional to oversee our Pilates program. Cape Arundel is members-only private golf club known for its scenic beauty and exceptional facilities. Our state-of-the-art Pilates studio is a key feature of our fitness offerings, providing members with a tranquil space to improve their fitness, flexibility, and strength. We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Pilates Instructor lead and operate our Pilates program. This is a fantastic opportunity for a certified Pilates instructor passionate about wellness and interested in working in a luxurious, private setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead engaging, high-quality private and duet Pilates classes for members at various fitness levels.
• Design and execute Pilates routines that improve strength, flexibility, and overall well-being, tailored to the needs of our members.
• Offer modifications and personalized guidance for members with varying abilities and fitness goals.
• Maintain a professional, motivating, and supportive atmosphere in each class.
• Ensure proper technique and safety for all participants, emphasizing injury prevention.
• Keep the Pilates studio clean, organized, and stocked with necessary equipment.
• Uphold the high standards of service and professionalism expected at Cape Arundel Golf Club.

Qualifications:

• Certified Pilates Instructor (must have certification from a recognized program such as STOTT, BASI, or Peak Pilates).
• Prior experience teaching Pilates, especially in an upscale or private club setting, preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on providing exceptional service to members.
• Ability to create diverse and effective Pilates routines for individuals of all levels.
• Knowledge of anatomy and injury prevention, with the ability to modify exercises as needed.
• Passionate about promoting health, wellness, and fitness in a luxurious, member-focused environment.
• A professional, approachable demeanor and ability to embody the values of Cape Arundel Golf Club.
