Join our team as a skilled Woodshop Carpenter to craft custom furniture, cabinetry, and wood fixtures in our heated woodshop. Responsibilities include interpreting blueprints, measuring and fabricating materials and assembling wood products. The role requires precision, craftsmanship, and teamwork, with a focus on quality and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities :
- Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project specifications to determine requirements.
- Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and other materials with precision using hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery.
- Fabricate and assemble custom furniture, cabinetry, shelving, and other wood products according to design specifications.
- Inspect workpieces for accuracy, quality, and craftsmanship, making adjustments or repairs as needed.
- Perform maintenance and repair tasks on existing furniture and wood structures.
- Operate and maintain woodworking equipment and tools, ensuring they are in safe and working condition.
- Collaborate with designers, clients, and other team members to ensure projects are completed on time and meet quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace in both the shop and installation sites.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols during shop and installation work.
