Our busy Market is seeking a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Assistant / Deli Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting our kitchen staff with food preparation and ensuring that our deli counter runs smoothly.
Responsibilities :
- Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables, preparing meats, and making soups
- Operate the deli register, including processing payments and providing excellent customer service
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and deli area
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and management to ensure a smooth operation
