Job Overview
The Chief Executive Officer will be responsible for leading the organization in its mission to support the educational and community needs of Cape Cod. This includes developing and implementing strategic plans, building relationships with donors and partners, and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the foundation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive strategic plan that aligns with the organization's mission and goals.
- BUILD AND MAINTAIN STRONG RELATIONSHIPS WITH DONORS, PARTNERS, AND STAKEHOLDERS.
- LEAD THE ORGANIZATION IN FUNDRAISING EFFORTS, INCLUDING DEVELOPING AND EXECUTING CAPITAL CAMPAIGNS.
- OVERSEE THE MANAGEMENT OF THE FOUNDATION'S ENDOWMENT AND ASSURE FINANCIAL SUSTAINABILITY.
Qualifications
- MINIMUM OF 7 YEARS OF PROGRESSIVELY RESPONSIBLE EXPERIENCE IN FUNDRAISING, PREFERABLY IN A HIGHER EDUCATION SETTING.
- PROVEN TRACK RECORD OF SUCCESSFUL NONPROFIT FUNDRAISING, INCLUDING CAPITAL CAMPAIGN EXPERIENCE.
- EXCELLENT LEADERSHIP AND MANAGEMENT SKILLS, INCLUDING STRATEGIC PLANNING, FINANCIAL OVERSIGHT, AND TEAM MANAGEMENT.
