- Focused on assisting our branch clients during our busy summer months, this opportunity provides valuable experience in the field of banking, with a focus on relationship building. As an initial point of contact for new and existing customers, the Retail Banking Intern enhances customer relationships by providing unique service to accurately process transactions, research and resolve issues and communicate product opportunities. Strong attention to detail and the ability to master a variety of system applications quickly is required. Related coursework and prior cash handling experience preferred. Seeking a candidate pursuing a 2 or 4 year degree in a Business Management, Business Administration, Economics or Finance related major to assist the Banks Deposit Operations Department. Our Deposit Operations Department oversees a wide range of functions to monitor risk and ensure compliance with applicable rules, laws and regulations. This opportunity will provide exposure to industry regulations and will work with employees across multiple departments within the Bank. This is a project-based role and will require the ability to work independently. The successful candidate must demonstrate technical expertise and strong excel skills. Ability to handle confidential information required.
- We are seeking a highly motivated Business Intelligence Intern pursuing a 2 or 4 year business degree in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Business Informatics or a data science related major to assist in the Business Intelligence Department. The ideal candidate will have completed Business Analytics coursework, have an understanding of financial data management systems and SQL as well as an interest in pursuing a career in the banking environment. In collaboration with several business units across the Bank, our Business Intelligence team compiles and generates reports and prepares presentations incorporating tables and charts as requested. The Intern will have the opportunity to work with employees across multiple departments within the Bank, gaining valuable experience and expanding their professional network. This opportunity will offer exposure to banking procedures, policies, principles and regulations. In partnership with the Business Intelligence Team, the Intern will gain hands on experience and an in-depth understanding of the Bank’s core processing systems and financial data management systems. This is a project-based role and will require the ability to work independently as well as within a team. The successful candidate must possess exceptional Excel skills and superior capabilities in other Microsoft Office programs. Ability to handle confidential information required.
- Opportunity for a Marketing Intern to gain valuable experience in a collaborative environment with a team of creative Marketing professionals. The incumbent will gain exposure to the dynamic, innovating and fast pace of a Marketing Department, with areas of focus that include project work, social media creation, participation in branding, advertising, public relations, event planning and execution activities. The marketing intern will participate in organization-wide projects and initiatives and will work independently as well as within the team. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, possess strong time management skills and be effective in communications. The Marketing Intern will work primarily with the Marketing Team; however, the Intern will be involved in the Bank’s community relations team. The community relations activities include participation in all aspects of Bank sponsored events, such as managing the inventory and organization of collateral materials, delivery, set-up and attendance at events. As a brand ambassador, the Marketing Intern will be active in networking and community outreach, assist with social media content creation and support the Bank’s various advertising initiatives.
- We are seeking a highly motivated Bank Secrecy Act Intern pursuing a 2 or 4 year degree in a Compliance, Business, Law, Criminal Justice or Finance related major to assist our BSA Department. Our BSA team oversees a wide range of functions to monitor risk and ensure compliance with applicable rules, laws and regulations. This opportunity will provide exposure to industry regulations and laws applicable to banking through the monitoring and review of financial crime activities. The BSA Intern will be responsible for supporting the compliance department with the effectiveness of the Bank’s Bank Secrecy Act, Anti Money Laundering, Counter Terrorist Financing, Office of Foreign Asset Control monitoring and reporting standards in accordance with established Bank policies and procedures. The BSA Internship will help identify, research, and report suspicious activities through formal investigations, file Currency Transaction Reports (CTRs), review system alerts for unusual activity, and ensure compliance with watch list alerts and new account documentation. BSA and Compliance are a good match for students interested in pursuing a career in banking compliance or in risk assessment with a heavy focus on procedures, policies, principles and regulations. This is a task-driven role and requires the ability to work independently with attention to detail and excellent analytical skills. Additionally, the BSA Intern will assist with reporting projects the must demonstrate strong technical expertise and be proficient in excel. Ability to handle confidential information and excellent written and verbal communication required.
Requirements :
Candidates must have a commitment to superior customer service and excellent communication skills to understand and meet customer needs. Strong attention to detail and knowledge of MS Office a must. HS diploma or GED required. All positions are temporary. Retail positions are 37.5 hours per week and require flexible scheduling; positions at HQ are M-F 40 hours per week.
