Job Title: Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner
Location: Cape Cod, Massachusetts
Overview:
Join our dedicated team of healthcare professionals at Cape Cod Emergency Associates, LLP. Since 1985, we have been an independent group providing outstanding medical services to the Cape Cod community within Cape Cod Healthcare. Our current team consists of twenty-nine physicians and thirteen full-time/per diem Physician Assistants (PAs) and Nurse Practitioners (NPs) committed to delivering exceptional care.
Position Overview:
This is a rare opportunity for a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our growing team in a hybrid role. You will work within the Cape Cod Hospital Emergency Department while also serving at various local urgent care sites. This unique position allows for diverse clinical experiences and the chance to make a significant impact in our community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality care to patients in the emergency department and urgent care settings.
- Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, diagnose conditions, and develop treatment plans.
- Administer treatments and medications as prescribed.
- Participate in clinical teaching opportunities as we have a clinical affiliation with a prominent Physician Assistant program.
- Engage in quality improvement initiatives and maintain high standards of care.
Qualifications:
- Experience in emergency medicine and/or urgent care is preferred.
- Valid state licensure as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner.
- Strong clinical skills, critical thinking, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
