Responsibilities as a Cook
11am-7 : 30pm shift
- Food Preparation / Production Responsibilities
- Reviews menus, production and prep guides to determine type and quantities of food to be prepared.’
- Prepares all meal items according to planned menus and standardized recipes in a sanitary manner to ensure the utmost quality with a minimum of waste.
- Uses nutritionally equivalent substitutes when required .
- Operates a variety of kitchen utensils and equipment, such as blender, mixer, fryer, slicer, steamer, food processor, convection oven, stove, conventional oven, steam table and tilt skillet.
- Follow recipes.
- Prepares and assists with special function meals.
