Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Landscaping Mow Crew Leader to oversee our residential and commercial lawn care accounts and ensure high-quality service is being delivered. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces. This role involves supervising a team, managing landscape maintenance tasks, and ensuring that all work is completed efficiently and to our standards.
Duties
- Supervise and lead a team of landscapers in various landscaping projects, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and company policies.
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks including lawn care, spring and fall cleanups, and garden upkeep.
- Help plan and coordinate daily work schedules for the crew to maximize productivity.
- Train new team members on proper landscaping techniques and equipment usage.
- Maintain equipment and tools to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their landscaping needs and provide exceptional customer service.
- Monitor the quality of work performed by the crew, providing feedback and guidance as necessary.
- Assist with groundskeeping duties as needed, including planting, pruning, mulching, and weeding.
Experience
- Proven experience in landscaping or groundskeeping roles is required.
- Previous supervisory experience is preferred; strong leadership skills are essential.
- Familiarity with landscape maintenance practices such as irrigation systems, tree care, lawn care, and garden management is necessary.
- Ability to operate landscaping equipment safely and efficiently.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively lead a team and interact with clients.
