Part-Time Client Care Associate (Overnight)
Are you ready to make a difference for pets and their families during critical moments? Cape Cod Veterinary Specialists is seeking an experienced, compassionate, and detail-oriented Client Care Associate to join our team in Buzzards Bay, MA.
This overnight position offers the unique opportunity to be the face of our hospital during some of the most critical hours, ensuring that clients receive the highest level of care and service.
About the Role :
As a Client Care Associate (CCA), you will be the first and last point of contact for our clients, playing a crucial role in shaping their experience.
You will support our medical team by facilitating emergency and specialty appointments, managing communications with referring veterinarians, and processing financial transactions.
This position does not involve direct animal care but focuses on client service and communication.
Key Responsibilities :
- Greet clients and manage check-ins for emergency and specialty appointments.
- Schedule, confirm, and manage appointments with precision and professionalism.
- Maintain accurate and organized electronic medical records (EMR).
- Provide clear estimates, process payments, and handle deposits.
- Communicate medical records to referring veterinarians.
- Manage client phone calls, directing them appropriately and compassionately.
- Maintain a clean and professional front desk and lobby environment.
- Offer emotional support to clients in high-stress situations.
Salary, Schedule, and Benefits :
- Hourly Rate : $18 $20 (commensurate with experience).
- Schedule : Thurs Sat overnights, 11 : 00 p.m. to 7 : 00 a.m. (including a holiday rotation).
- Initial Training : Day and swing shifts.
- Benefits Include :

Qualifications :
- Previous experience in a veterinary hospital preferred
- This position may be open to the right person who expresses a genuine desire and is eager to learn
- Strong computer skills (Word, Excel) and ability to learn veterinary software.
- Experience with basic office equipment (fax machines, credit card terminals, etc.).
- Confidence in handling multiple tasks and interacting with clients.
- Strong communication skills, professionalism, and a positive, team-focused attitude.
