Up to $2500 sign on bonus! Cape Cod Veterinary Specialists (CCVS) is a growing specialty and emergency, critical care hospital with locations in Bourne and Dennis, Massachusetts. Our 24/7 hospitals strive to practice a high standard of care in a compassionate and engaging environment. We are seeking a full time Specialty Liaison to join our team in Buzzards Bay.
Liaisons are the connection between pet parents and the Internal Medicine team. Our goal is to take care of pets and the people who love them by facilitating excellent patient care, communicating with owners and minimizing wait times. This position fully allows you to connect with the patients and clients and foster the human-animal-veterinary bond.
Duties for this role include:
- Caring for the client and patient
- Communicate with referral doctor / hospital
- Promote patient flow to limit client wait times
- Medical record entry
- Patient discharges
Requirements:
- 2 years experience in the veterinary hospital (technician, liaison, customer service) preferred but will consider other equivalent experience
- Professional, pleasant, engaged, clear communicator who is attentive and respectful to referring veterinarians, clients, and co-workers
- Must be able to balance multiple tasks, be confident, and prioritize tasks appropriately.
- Computer experience (Word, Excel) and operation of office equipment such as fax machine, copy machine, credit card and check terminal, and postage meter.
- Related veterinary software (DVMax) and Care Credit knowledge preferred.
- Must possess basic math skills to determine proper deposits and process payments
- Willingness to learn veterinary assisting skills

Applicants being considered for hire must pass a drug test before beginning work after receiving an offer of employment. This ten panel drug test does not include testing for THC (Marijuana). Applicants will be required to complete online paperwork authorizing the drug test and will be directed to choose a Quest Diagnostics facility convenient to them. Upon receipt of the results, a hiring decision will be made. A positive finding without an acceptable explanation may result in withdrawal of the offer of employment. Refusal to submit to testing will result in disqualification of further employment consideration.
