Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Senior Lead coordinator to occasionally coordinate weddings and events on an as-needed contractual basis. There's no set hours. You'll be on call to work at weddings & events as needed. You'll be notified of assignments months in advance. Very rarely, you may get asked to work at an event last minute due to emergency situations.
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent customer support abilities, and a commitment to fostering a positive work environment. Must be able to work under high pressure and be deadline driven. As a Lead Coordinator, you'll be responsible for executing day-of coordination services at weddings & events independently, sometimes with an available assistant for support.
Duties
- Oversee setup & decorating of assigned weddings & events.
- Ensure setup is complete before the event starts.
- Delegate to assigned assistants as needed and work professionally with the team.
- Provide outstanding customer support by addressing client or guest questions and concerns. Truly work on our client & stakeholder behalf.
- Resolve conflict or issues with clients, stakeholders, guests, or vendors professionally.
- Ensure floor plan & set up plan are being followed.
- Usher guests to their seats or the next event space.
- Support vendors; lend a hand as needed.
- Oversee the event timeline and ensure vendors are aligned.
- Dress professionally.

Qualifications
- Proven experience in a senior level event coordinator role.
- Must have experience coordinating weddings with no supervision.
- Must be a highly motivated go-getter who is results oriented and can work efficiently and calmly under high pressure with deadlines.
- Must have a positive attitude at all times while representing the Cape Cod Wedding Planning brand.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent time management capabilities to prioritize responsibilities efficiently.
- Some computer skills with experience in administrative tasks, such as email and calendar management.
- Must be located on or near Cape Cod in MA and must be able to commute to events. May be requested to go off Cape at times, in which case, you'd be paid for travel.
- Must be available on weekends May - October. Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
- Familiarity with Cape Cod is a plus.
- A Bachelors degree is preferred.
