Purpose
To act as the Superintendent in the absence of the Superintendent. The Assistant Superintendent will facilitate the development and implementation of district-wide curricula, assessment, and instruction and staff professional development programs. (S)he ensures the district/school educational objectives are aligned to state frameworks and to instructional practices that support the vision, mission, and values of the Cape Elizabeth School Department. The Assistant Superintendent assists the Superintendent in all matters as defined by the Superintendent.
