Laborer
Hourly Rate: $20 - $24 BOE
Location: Local and nationwide project sites
Job Summary
This project is based at the Sunflower Ammunition Plant.
The Laborer supports civil construction and environmental remediation projects by performing general labor tasks safely and efficiently. Responsibilities include:
- Installing fences, erecting structures, and general site cleanup
- Operating small hand-held power tools (e.g., chainsaws, power augers)
- Flagging/spotting trucks and organizing paperwork
- Following all safety protocols and reporting site hazards
- Conducting daily inspections and equipment maintenance
- Assisting with material handling and installations under supervision
Qualifications
- Required: 40-hr HAZWOPER, High School Diploma/GED, ability to lift 50 lbs, pass fit-for-duty physical and drug/background screens
- Preferred: Forklift certification, First Aid/CPR (can obtain upon hire)
