Position Description
Definition :
To provide classroom instruction in Geographic Information System (GIS) to students enrolled into the Economic & Workforce Development Telecommunications / Network Cable Installer classes using Esri GIS mapping software.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED AND EXERCISED :
- Receives direct supervision from Director of Workforce Readiness Programs and general supervision from the Associate Vice President of EWD.
- Exercises no supervision.

EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING GUIDELINES :
Any combination of experience and training that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be :
Minimum Education / Training :
High School Diploma or equivalent
Training in Esri GIS mapping software
Willingness to learn online teaching techniques and systems. Training provided by CFCC.
Minimum Experience :
3 years of experience utilizing GIS mapping software
Preferred Education / Training, Experience, Skills :
Associates Degree from an accredited college or university is preferred.
A minimum of 1 year of teaching experience
