Summary (Essential Functions):
Conduct repair and preventative maintenance of equipment, items, and building-related issues owned by the Club. Responsible for keeping the facilities clean, in good working order, and safe. Perform minor repairs and preventive maintenance on equipment, machinery, furnishings, and building structures.
Qualifications: Must have a valid driver's license. Good physical condition. Strong organization and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and maintain facilities. Must have keen attention to detail and excellent time management skills to complete a variety of tasks. Candidates must have the ability to follow maintenance instructions, user manuals, safety rules, and other documents. This position requires flexibility in scheduling, and the ability to work weekends.
Qualified candidates will be reliable, professional, have good interpersonal skills and be able to successfully work in a team environment. Candidates will have effective listening and communication skills and a strong desire to provide excellent service. All candidates will work to ensure the fulfillment of the Club's mission to provide a warm and friendly environment for our members and guests, through commitment and dedication with a personal touch.
Details: Job tasks include, but are not limited to:
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting issues with lighting, HVAC systems, and plumbing
- Handling emergency requests for cleaning and maintenance services
- Communicating with supervisors on the maintenance status of equipment and facilities
- Willing to learn and attend training
- Complying with health and safety regulations
- Managing the routine upkeep of outdoor areas, building exteriors, and parking lots
- Assist the Maintenance Director with the Club's ongoing preventative maintenance program
- Perform other tasks as requested by the Maintenance Director and or his/her designee

Sign-on Bonus: After 6 months of service, employees receive sign-on bonuses as follows:
35 hrs/wk - $1000
21 - 35 hrs/wk - $500
1 - 20 hrs/wk - $250
Cape Fear Country Club participates in "for cause" substance abuse testing only. It is not a pre-screening requirement.
