Summary (Essential Functions) : Laundry staff members are responsible for washing, drying, sorting, pressing, folding, transportation, and distribution of all club-owned linens, towels, rags, etc. Laundry attendants report to the Maintenance Director.
Details :
- Empty linen hampers; receive soiled linen
- Separate and count linen
- Load and operate washers
- Load and operate dryers
- Press linen immediately after drying
- Fold and store linen by type
- Clean laundry room and linen room
- Take linen inventory periodically and report shortages
- Lubricate laundry machines as required
- Requisition laundry supplies
- Follow all safety procedures
Qualifications : Qualified candidates will be reliable, professional, and able to successfully work in a team environment. Candidates will have effective listening and communication skills and a strong desire to provide excellent service.
