Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and a smooth dining experience. You will play a crucial role in managing guest relations, seating arrangements, and overall customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Greet guests upon arrival with a friendly demeanor and ensure they feel welcomed.
- Manage the seating chart and assign tables based on guest preferences and availability.
- Communicate effectively with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service.
- Answer phone calls with professional phone etiquette, taking reservations and providing information about the restaurant.
- Assist with guest inquiries and provide exceptional customer service throughout their dining experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host station.
- Handle guest complaints or concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring a positive resolution.
- Utilize RESY system for managing reservations and tracking guest preferences.
Skills
- Strong guest relations skills with a focus on hospitality and customer service.
- Previous experience in a restaurant setting is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with RESY POS or similar point-of-sale systems is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Ability to multitask in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A positive attitude and willingness to help others contribute to an enjoyable dining experience for all guests.
