$20,000 Bonus and Relocation Assistance Available Facility Cape Fear Valley Medical Center Location Fayetteville, North Carolina Department Legal Services Job Family Professional Work Shift Days (United States of America) Summary Assistant Counsel provides legal services and counsel to the Cape Fear Valley Health System and its related entities (CFVHS) on various legal matters including interpretation & application of laws and regulations, as well as contractual relations and liability matters. Education and Formal Training: Must be a graduate of an accredited law school. Professional Certification: Licensed to practice law in North Carolina or must obtain License within 1 year of employment. Work Experience: 3 years as a practicing attorney in a law firm or in-house position. Additional Education/Experience Preferences: Experience in health care industry, including preparation of contracts and transactional documents, is preferred. Requirements: Work schedule in excess of 40 hours/week. Effective oral and written communication; strong problem-solving skills; possesses knowledge of health care industry; ability to work well individually and as a team member.
