$10,000.00 SIGN ON BONUS AND RELOCATION ASSISTANCE AVAILABLE Facility Cape Fear Valley Medical Center Location Fayetteville, North Carolina Department 3 VP South Progressive Care Job Family Management Work Shift Variable (United States of America) Summary Directs, supervises, and coordinates the functions and activities of the assigned unit(s). Responsible for overall management and coordination of the service to include fiscal resource management, human resource management, capital improvements and quality of services Education and Formal Training: Bachelor of Science in Nursing required (or actively pursuing BSN) and current licensure as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina. Work Experience: 2-3 years clinical experience related to nursing area of management. Minimum of 1-year management or management-related experience. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required: Demonstrated leadership characteristics. Working knowledge of budgets, staffing, Performance Improvement as well as regulatory requirements. Strong interpersonal skills required. Knowledge of age-specific considerations for patients served. Must be knowledgeable of the N.C. Nurse Practice Act. Physical Requirements: Work requires long periods of standing, walking or sitting and occasional assistance with heavy lifting. May be required to work variable shifts on occasion. Must have command of the English language and possess visual and auditory acuity for accurate patient assessment. Position may involve skin, eye, mucous membrane, or parenteral contact with blood or other potentially infectious material.
