$3,000 Sign on bonus Facility Cape Fear Valley Medical Center Location Fayetteville, North Carolina Department Pharmacy Job Family Professional Work Shift Variable (United States of America) Summary This position is accountable to work under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist and assist in the various activities of the pharmacy department in order to provide quality patient care. Pharmacy technicians will perform in accordance with established policies and procedures. The supervising pharmacist must approve deviations from this.Require one-year experience as a pharmacy technician within the inpatient pharmacy of the health system. Maintain National Pharmacy Certification. Respond to emails promptly and complete assignments on time. Rank above average on yearly annual evaluation. No active absences or tardy counseling; No behavioral or similar counseling within one year of applying; If attendance or other infractions occur, this may result in immediate demotion to pharmacy technician; Demonstrate independence and time management; Ability to work various schedules; Detailed oriented with an inherent quality for accuracy and quality; Ability to work as a team member.Perform repetitive motion including bending, twisting stooping, pushing and pulling and must be able to lift a minimum 10 pounds. Must be able to see and read physician orders, medication labels and have manual dexterity. Have the ability to stand for long periods of time.
