Facility Cape Fear Valley Medical Center Location Fayetteville, North Carolina Department 6 VP Job Family Nursing Work Shift Nights (United States of America) Summary A registered nurse who facilitates quality patient care through utilization of resources and maintains systems and procedures which enhance staff ability to deliver quality patient care. Position consists of flexible shifts to include weekends and holidays. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Registered Nurse, RN Demonstrates positive interpersonal skills. Verbal and written skills required. Demonstrates effective organizational and leadership skills. Knowledge of the age-specific physiological, psychosocial, developmental, and spiritual needs of the patients typically served. Speech and auditory acuity for communication of patient needs. Visual acuity for observation of patients. Much standing, walking, bending, and lifting. Position may involve skin, eye, mucous membrane, or parenteral contact with blood or other potentially infectious material. 3 – 5 years of related clinical experience preferred. Positive interpersonal skills. Effective organizational, teaching, and leadership skills. ADN required; BSN preferred.
