Summary
Develops, maintains, and administers a program to effectively provide child care and developmental services for children enrolled in the Cape Fear Valley Health System.Previous experience in management of a Child Care facility desired. A strong background in child development with three years experience in a professional child care setting. Previous management experience desired. Must be knowledgeable of laws, rules and regulations which pertain to North Carolina State requirements. A working knowledge of techniques and practices of budget in order to maintain and supervise a large child care facility. Verbal and written communication skills required to effectively relate to various departments and both to children and parents of the child care facility.Work involves a variety of activities to include walking, standing and lifting of children and various objects. Ability to speak effectively and visually observe facility.
