What are the responsibilities and job description for the Janitor position at Cape Fox Lodge?
Cape Fox Lodge is seeking a Janitor to maintain the cleanliness of the beautiful Cape Fox Lodge. The ideal candidate will be hard working and take pride in cleaning the premier lodging destination in Ketchikan. This employment opportunity is a full-time, benefits eligible position. The desired work hours are 4 PM to midnight OR 10 PM to 6 AM.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Cleaning bathrooms
- Cleaning the lobby, conference rooms, banquet facilities, and other common areas
- Cleaning the restaurant
- Cleaning outside lodges
- Maintaining the cleanliness of the hotel and hotel grounds

- Safety Awareness: Ability to identify correctable conditions that effect employee and guest safety
- Must be able to comfortable lift up to 50 pounds, sit, stand, kneel, bend and reach throughout the work day.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required
- Must have authorization to work within the U.S. without sponsorship
