What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cape Henlopen State Park Office Staff / Key Holder position at Cape Henlopen State Park?
The Keyholder seasonal position will be responsible for opening and closing the CHSP Office, sell park permits, provide customer service by explaining regulations, answer visitor requests, needs and complaints, and provide information about the park and surrounding areas. Responsibilities may include completing daily deposits, creating revenue reports, including Revenue of Receipts, running an automated sales program, tracking supplies and inventory, and other clerical duties as required. Applicants must be willing to work in fee booths as needed. Applicants must be available to work weekends and holidays as scheduled.
Job Duties:
· Customer service.
· Counter permit sales; maintains permit and general supply inventory.
· Count, verify and deposit revenue associated paperwork generated at the park office. Adheres to all State procedures for processing the same.
· Collecting appropriate fees and accountability for handling money.
· Serve as liaison with the public, clients, staff, and others to exchange information and explain services, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
· Compiles and maintains fiscal and narrative records and reports.
· Maintain and control data and /or filing systems to ensure effective, accurate and easily retrievable documentation of operations, program and project activities.
· Processes daily financial reports, including RORs (Revenue of Receipts)
· Uses the office copier service to scan paperwork, including RORs, to Dover.
· Must be willing to work in fee booths as needed.
· Other duties as required.
· 37.5-hour Schedule Varies--- Evenings/Weekends/Holidays required
