What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Varsity Girls Lacrosse Coach position at Cape Henry Collegiate?
The Cape Henry Collegiate (CHC) Athletic Program is a vibrant and successful department in an Independent College Preparatory School setting. Position duties (include, but are not limited to), Assisting the Head Coach with the following:

Provide instruction in all phases of the sport of lacrosse.

Work with student athletes to improve personal and teamwork skills.

Maintain compliance with Conference and State Athletic Association rules and guidelines.

Work collaboratively with the Athletic Director to evaluate program needs.

Communicate effectively with the team, staff, parents, community, administration, and the media.

Handle financial items for the athletic program, including the inventory and purchase of equipment and uniforms.

Organize and maintain proper records, including TCIS & State forms, reports, team statistics, and summary season information.

Maintain an excellent attendance record and be punctual.

Complete reports timely and accurately.

Possess knowledge of applicable health and safety practices.

Assume full responsibility for the practice plan and skill development.

Create a professional working relationship with Conference & State opponents.

Exhibit skill in managing individual, group, organizational interactions and problem resolution.

Commit and direct an off season skill development and conditioning program for team members.
In addition, we seek a coach who is dependable, adaptable and flexible in order to meet the needs of all athletes on the team. He/she should be an excellent collaborator who can take initiative, anticipate the needs of student athletes, and assist in balancing all of the requirements of the CHC student athlete. Education and Experience
Minimum of 1 year of coaching experience as an Assistant Coach or a Head Coach.
Physical Requirements
