Cape Girardeau Regional Credit Union (CRCU) was chartered in 1971 and originally was restricted to the employees and families of the Procter and Gamble Paper Products plant in north Cape Girardeau County. In 2005 this family oriented credit union opened it’s membership to all residents and workers in Cape Girardeau County Missouri. Our credit union has two locations and is a multi-services financial institution with assets of $18 million and 2675 members.
CRCU is looking for a community minded person to join and lead our team into the future. This person must be able to lead us in strategic processes and represent CRCU to regulatory agencies, auditors, members, and other financial organizations. The selected candidate must be able to successfully work collaboratively with the Board of Directors and staff to ensure our short and long term financial health while providing outstanding service to members. This position requires excellent communication and analytical skills, and a demonstrated success of managing and accounting in the finance arena. The successful candidate should have experience, understanding and passion for the credit union industry including compliance with all laws and regulations.
Primary Responsibilities
Implement Credit Union policies, procedures and practices which include the organizations financial goals, objectives and budgets.
- Make business improvement recommendations and work with the Board of Directors for approval.
- Facilitate, organize, and plan all board meetings, credit union annual dinner and annual business meeting.
- Oversee all operational aspects of the credit union, including monitoring and updating online banking, mobile banking, and website.
- Mentor, train and develop employees to promote career enhancement and to elevate the level of competence.
- Oversee the preparation and timely submission of financial and regulatory reports as required by NCUA compliance regulations.
- Perform all other miscellaneous responsibilities and duties as assigned or directed.
