Department: Food and Beverage
Position: Pool-Beach Expeditor
Reports To: Executive Chef, Executive Sous Chef, Sous Chef
Supervisory Responsibilities: None
Position Overview: Ensure the correct service of food to the restaurant, bar, and proper communication with the kitchen staff
These duties may be described as, but not limited to:
- Firing and ordering of Menu Items timely and professional manner
- Setting up workstation per service standards
- Communicating with the kitchen staff
- Maintaining a clean and organized workspace
- Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel. In addition, attendance at all training sessions and meetings is required.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- Knowledge of local and federal health codes
- Knowledge of menu and food preparation
- Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 6 hours in length.
- Position involves all outdoor work, and candidates should be comfortable working in warmer temperatures.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school degree or equivalent
- Previous experience as a food runner preferred
- All employees must maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance per Company standards.
