Job Summary
Capella Space is seeking a Legal Counsel to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school and 5 years of commercial and corporate experience in the aerospace or satellite sector. Regulatory experience involving ITAR and EAR export controls, FCC licensing, NOAA, or other technology sectors is a plus.
About the Role
The Legal Counsel will be working under the supervision of the General Counsel & Secretary and in close collaboration with a Regulatory Engineer who assists with regulatory matters in the Legal and Regulatory Compliance Department (LRC Department). Your primary focus will be drafting, reviewing, and advising on day-to-day commercial and government transactions with customers and vendors. You will also assist with corporate transactions and the Company's regulatory compliance, employee, and other in-house legal matters, always striving to mitigate Company risk.
