Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance. Duties
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary requirements and preferences.
- Provide memory care support for clients experiencing cognitive challenges.
- Engage clients in social activities to promote mental and emotional well-being.
- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor health conditions.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance the client's quality of life.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, including light housekeeping tasks.
- Document care provided and report any changes in the client’s condition to appropriate personnel.
Experience
- Previous experience in caregiving, home health, or social work is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with memory care techniques and working with individuals on the autism spectrum is a plus.
- Skills in meal preparation and cooking are beneficial for providing nutritious meals.
- A background in nursing or related fields can enhance your effectiveness in this role.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients are essential.
